It is time to outlaw gas chambers forever as a way to kill Virginia’s excess companion animals.
It is time for you to go to both your own state delegate and your state senator and tell them you want gas chambers eliminated permanently.
To make sure this happens, ask them to co-patron a bill to this effect.
Delegate Jim Scott has agreed to patron this legislation once again this year, and he has agreed that having as many co-patrons as possible will ensure its passage.

click here. The bill as introduced to the House last year is fine for this session except the date for the bill to be effective changed from 10/1/06 to 10/1/07.
Share this with your representatives quickly and forcefully. You elected them, you are a constituent, and you want gas gone.
See the VVAW website for information you may want when you call or write your legislator. The website is being updated, but I believe there is much there to use. The bottom line is that gas chambers are never run in compliance with the law and never operated in a humane manner.
