The next VVAW regional meeting will be held on 9/24/06 in Charlottesville at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.

Three people who have consistently opposed VVAW, particularly on VVAW’s goal of responsible breeding, have been invited to present to the group.

Invited are

Walt Hutchens who usually writes about us thru the NCVAW tho he lives in Lexington; I believe he breeds whippets

Bob Kane who heads VA Hunting Dog Owners' Association

Bob Murray who heads VA Association of Dog Clubs and Breeders; this is the group that Marge McClung formerly headed

We have no response from any of the three as of this writing.

We will also discuss the 2007 VVAW package of initiatives that day.

If you haven’t already reserved your chair for the Charlottesville meeting, please do so ASAP.
