The email provided for the Southampton Sheriff in the alert of 8/24/06 had a typo.

Sheriff Francis was part of the alert about Southampton - that stopped using the gas chamber.

I apologize.

Please let Sheriff Francis know we all appreciate what has happened – and that we wish all Virginia jurisdictions would stop using gas.
