Alert 5/3/07      Please Come to Richmond, Reston and Fredericksburg

We are working hard and making progress. We need to keep going.

The meetings below are working meetings.

Committees and specific projects will be identified, although much of this has already done by the Richmond-area group.

Please come only if you want to work hard. Plan on attending Board of Supervisors meetings, meeting individually with Board members prior to presenting at those meetings, meeting with other elected officials, and working on material that can bring the spotlight to the VVAW legislative agenda amongst other projects.

We anticipate that in the 2008 session of the General Assembly we will be working with the same legislative initiatives we had for 2007. Please see which bill you will make your personal focus, and come to the meeting.

You do not need to have attended a meeting before to come to one of these meetings, but you do need to be ready to work. We are well beyond introducing VVAW’s goals.
