Alert 5/25/07 Revised Meeting List & Court Case Update
MEETINGS
Here is the updated meeting list. Note that we will have a meeting for the first time in Culpeper on 7/15/07.
NOTE: There are two meetings scheduled for 6/24/07. One will be in Fredericksburg and the other in Richmond.
The Richmond meeting will be for the Richmond committee focusing on tethering legislation, that committee headed by Cindy Leggett. If you want to come to the Richmond tethering meeting but haven’t attended before, please come; we ask that you contact Mary Archer (her email is MArcher@richmondpetlovers.com) before the meeting for information.
NOTE: There will also be a “money/funding” committee from the Richmond group headed by Cindy Harris. The meeting for this committee has not yet been set. Who will work on this one?
All meetings are on Sundays from 11 am to 1 pm except as noted.

Lexington animal cruelty case

This is an update!
This case will be heard on Monday, 6/4/07 at 2:30 pm.
This is a case with a GUILTY plea bench trial.
Please come and support all in Lexington who have worked so hard to prosecute this case.
The trial will be at the Circuit Court located at 2 South Main Street in Lexington.
Bland County Puppymill Fire
This is not new information (see the alerts of 5/8/07 and 5/21/07), but a confirmation that there will be a Bland County Planning Commission meeting on Monday, 6/4/07, at 7 pm in Bastian at the Bland County School Board Offices at 361 Bears Trail.
Both the Lexington and Bland County matters will be up on the same day. Please try to make both.
