Alert   5/20/08     Animal Cruelty

 

Earlier today we sent this message as an email to Danville’s well-regarded Commonwealth Attorney, William H. Fuller. We sent it to Comthaty@ci.Danville.va.us.

 

 

Dear Mr. Fuller:

 

We write to ensure that Lorenza Jones will be prosecuted for animal cruelty in the case dealing with removing the ears of a pit puppy using box cutters.

 

That he has subsequently committed murder should, if anything, demonstrate the connection between these acts and not diminish the fervor of the prosecution of the animal cruelty case against Mr. Jones.

 

In addition, we want you to know that we have adopted the dog with no ears that Mr. Jones had mutilated.  The puppy stokes our passion for having this case prosecuted vigorously.
