Alert 4/7/08   April Court Watch Cases – More!

 

We got through the first week of April! Don and I attended both the Rappahannock and Fauquier proceedings. More on those later.

 

Below is what is anticipated for the rest of April. We have more information on these cases. Let us know if you want it.

Please attend as many as you can. If you want to prioritize, attend those that are trials and those with sentencing as the anticipated action. This means you are urged to go to:

.   the dogfighting sentencing of Alfred Taylor on 4/10 in Chesapeake

 

.   the animal cruelty trial of Abdul Madyun on 4/11 in Caroline County

 

.   the animal cruelty trial of Eugene Lynch on 4/15 in Suffolk; possible pupppymill

 

.   the jury trial for dogfighting of Joseph Wood on 4/18 in Fluvanna County

 

.   the trial of Annie Davis and Theresa Gordon on 4/18 in Richmond County; may be tried together, may be tried separately; as of 4/7/08, no decision has been made

 

.   the trial of “Junior” Horton on 4/18 in Carroll County regarding his puppymill

charges against Ms Davis include filing a false report (misdemeanor) and larceny of a dog (felony)

charges against Ms Gordon include removal of a dog transmittal collar (misdemeanor), larceny of a dog and grand larceny (felonies)
