Alert 4/23/08      Dogfighting Seminar Update

 

We need to make a change regarding the dogfighting seminar.

 

On 3/30/08 an alert was sent out promoting a seminar targeting Virginia’s animal control officers as attendees.

 

We had hoped the seminar would be held on Friday, June 6.

 

However, we have run into some conflicts. We have been told that the presentation at the seminar can be fuller and richer if it takes place after the state case against Michael Vick is completed.

 

We are working on having continuing education credit hours given to ACOs and humane investigators who attend.

 

I apologize for the change and look forward to seeing many of you when the date is finalized.
