Alert 12/19/07 VAW End-of-the-Year Appeal

Dear Animal Lover:

Please contribute and become a member of Virginians for Animal Welfare.

Virginians for Animal Welfare (VAW), the sister organization of Virginia Voters for Animal Welfare (VVAW) is a tax-free charitable organization. Financial contributions to VAW are tax deductible.

Many people prefer to make donations at year end, and so we send this out now with a promise for a longer and more descriptive appeal after the first of the year.

Virginians for Animal Welfare will raise money for a variety of programs you have asked for, including:

• spay/neuter programs
• upgrading the animal control function
• collecting and disseminating data about animal welfare issues
• encouraging local organizations to form for these same purposes

We intend to become more sophisticated and technical in asking for and accepting contributions, but for now, please join and contribute as generously as you can with a check. Just fill out the form on the next page and mail it to us. And please share this information with other animal welfare friends.
