1. We were advised by Del. Orrock’s office late day today about the gas chamber bills:

 

Both HB40 (Del. Jim Scott) and HB5 (Del. Bobby Orrock) will be heard on Wednesday, 1/23/08, at 8:30 am in House Room C.

 

This is a change!!!!

2. Bills to be heard tomorrow morning (1/22):

 

Important bills will be heard at 7:30 am in the 4 th Floor West Conference Room.

 

The tethering(HB217) and definitions change (HB673), both patroned by Del. Kenneth Alexander, are on the docket. Please support these bills.

 

Del. Orrock’s puppymill bill (HB538) will also be heard. Please support this bill.

3. To be heard tomorrow afternoon:

 

Please come tomorrow afternoon (1/22) to hear SB26 (Sen. Reynolds), the RICO part of the dogfighting bill. It is scheduled to be heard ½ hour after session adjourns.

 

It will be heard in the 3 rd Floor East Conference Room by the Senate Courts of Justice Criminal Subcommittee.
