A precise schedule for hearings during the coming week is a moving target.

Let’s just consider Monday, 1/22/07, for this email alert.

Monday, 1/22/07, 9am
On Monday in the Senate Ag Committee, SB930 (Sen. Patsy Ticer’s humane investigator bill), will be heard.

SB1345 (Sen. Benjamin Lambert’s reporting of suspected dog fighting bill) may also be heard. Don may try to have the hearing on this bill put over for a week.

Monday, 1/22/07, likely near 10am
On Monday there will be two VVAW finance bills heard. They will be heard by a House Finance subcommittee headed by Del. Bobby Orrock. The hearings for this subcommittee start immediately after the full House Finance committee concludes its meeting which starts at 8:30 am. Don guesses this means the subcommittee will start at about 10 am.

Our bills:

HB2686, patroned by Del. Ben Cline, provides tax credits for certain kinds of adoptions.

HB3053, patroned by Del. Robert Hull, provides tax credits for certain kind s of adoptions and provides certain tax credits for vets.

Thank you.
