Don has just called from Richmond.
Per
Delegate Bobby Orrock who chairs the House Ag Subcommittee, no VVAW bills will
be heard tomorrow morning at 7:30 am.
However, SB1276, the VVAW humane
ed bill patroned by Senator Mary Margaret Whipple will be heard tomorrow
sometime after 8am and before 9:30 am. Your appearance in support of this bill
would be greatly appreciated.
We assume that the VVAW bills assigned to
the House Ag Committee will be heard next Thursday, 1/25/07, at 7:30 am, but we
do not have confirmation of this yet. The bills we anticipate being heard next
week are:
- HB3004 - gas chambers
- HB1853 - releasing agencies
- HB567 - humane ed
- HB2295 - rabies surcharge and s/n fund
- HB2098 - tethering
- HB1959 - license fee cap
Please save next Thursday, 1/25/07,
and plan on coming to Richmond in support of this package of VVAW bills.
Thank you.
